Season Tickets

Notice:   As of today, we have not been notified officially whether or not we will have access to James Lee Community Center for the mainstage season.  As you can appreciate, the news on the pandemic is changing day to day.  That said, we are planning a season and have high hopes that we will have access to the theater in late August.  However, though optimistic, we have decided to wait to release season or single tickets for purchase.  We appreciate your patience.

Season tickets are sold (typically) between May and October of each year. Season tickets include three shows, not including the Holiday Show. To order season tickets, please visit our online ticket site, click on the “Select” button under “Season Tickets″ descriptor, and follow the instructions. You will then receive an email confirmation of your purchase.

If you would prefer to mail in your request for season tickets, please download the season ticket order form, print, complete, and mail to Providence Players of Fairfax, Care of Season Tickets, PO Box 2393 Fairfax, VA, 22031. You will receive written confirmation of your order with a schedule of performances and instructions for reserving seats at the performance you wish to attend. You can also reserve your seats by emailing tickets@providenceplayers.org. Tickets can be picked up at the Box Office on the evening of the performance.

Through our Theatre Community Inclusion Project, Providence Players provides free tickets to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that provide services to underserved community members. To request tickets, organizations can email tickets@providenceplayers.org. A limited number of tickets are available for each performance and are distributed on a first come, first served basis. All other ticket policies apply.

Was there a change in ticket prices?

Yes, by a small amount.  For the 2019-2020 season, we increased single tickets by $1.00 per ticket and season tickets by $3.00 per ticket, or about 5% over the current season prices.  Providence Players has not changed its price of admission since July 2013.  So, we have not implemented a price increase for six seasons!  We are proud of our commitment to providing affordable, quality theater experiences to our members and patrons.  That commitment remains.  Costs have increased, and the small increase in ticket prices will help us defray additional production and administrative costs for the coming year.  Prices remain extremely competitive for community theater productions in the Washington DC metro area, and we continue to provide free tickets to organizations that serve young people and those who may not be able to afford the price of admission.  For more information about our free ticket program, please go to our community outreach page.
